Weber has been hydroforming complex sheet metal shapes since 1948. Our expertise in the field is second to none. Utilizing 7 hydroforms ranging in capacity from 8” to 32” blank diameters and draw depths up to 12” we form all types of metal alloys. All hydroform tooling is designed, built and maintained in-house saving our customers time and money. Our engineering team can react quickly to short lead-time programs and we welcome your most demanding requirements.
Weber performs aluminum solution, aging and annealing in-house with our new, state of the art heat treat system. Due to the nature of aluminum solution heat treating and the deep freeze requirements immediately after heat treat and prior to additional forming, this capability is essential for our aerospace customers.
In addition to sheet metal forming, Weber performs CNC machining of bar and plate. Our modern CNC department is comprised of four vertical mills up to 60” in length and four lathes with a maximum turning diameter of 30”. This capacity is utilized to perform primary machining to customer prints and secondary operations on our formed sheet metal products.
Our employees have over 20 years of 5 axis laser machining experience and are experts in the field. When a parts material or geometry does not lend itself to conventional secondary machining, 5 axis laser machining is utilized. Our laser capacity is dedicated to producing sheet metal blanks for our forming processes and 5 axis trimming of our customers formed parts.
From nutplate installation to complex tabletop assemblies, we can provide our customers parts assembled to the next higher level required. Whether riveted, welded, adhesive bonding, plating, painting, labeling and kitting, Weber has the expertise to produce, procure and assemble the components necessary.
We have over 15 years of experience managing our customer’s inventory levels through the Min/Max process. Our management team monitors customer forecasts, builds our inventory levels to match this demand, and replenishes customer inventory levels at one or more locations as required. This enables us to manufacture product most efficiently and meet the most demanding just-in-time delivery requirements.
